IND VS AUS 2nd ODI: India beat Kohli by six wickets in the second one-day match and level the series 1-1.
Australian coach Justin Langer compared Virat Kohli to Sachin Tendulkar after winning the Adelaide match, saying that the balance in the Indian captain’s batting in all formats of cricket is unbelievable. India won the second ODI with the help of Kohli’s 39th ODI hundred. Langer then praised Kohli, saying that the Indian captain has the same effect in international cricket which was used by Tendulkar in his lifetime. After losing to Australia’s six wickets in the second one-dayer, Langer said, “I would like to put both of them in my team.” Sachin was an incredible cricketer. I used to watch them playing and it seemed as if they were meditators. He played very quietly and therefore his record is unique. “
He said, “Virat is doing the same thing. He works calmly in batting and is very competitive and technically his balance is incredible. It is easy for him to play all kinds of shots in all formats of the game. Langer said that it is a matter of great benefit to the young cricketers of Australia that they are being met by world-class cricketers like Kohli and Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
He said, “He (Kohli) is a tough opponent and his concentration is incomparable. Sachin, Virat and Dhoni are all these great players. Our players are playing against one of the best players of the ODI and they will be better players with this experience. Langer also praised Shaun Marsh, who scored a century on Australia’s side. He said, “Shaun Marsh’s innings was excellent. We played some half-century partnerships but we were talking about a century and Shaun did it today. “
