Pollard, however, remained in protest. In the last over of Mumbai Indians innings, Pollard was constantly slipping towards Wide’s line, and Bravo, thinking of it, had three empty balls in a row outside the wide line.

The first ball hit Pollard’s bat but the other two balls were not given wide by the umpire Nitin Menon. After the third ball, Pollard’s frustration could be seen clearly and he bounced without saying a few balls in the air.

Bravo then moved to throw the fourth ball, then Pollard left the stump empty and went towards the wide line. Unlike the game spirit, Square leg umpire Ian Gould and Menon reprimanded this senior batsman for this behavior.
